Well, Wonder Wheel went down like a cup of cold sick at NYFF.Overall the reviews have been bad to mixed.Justin Timberlake in particular has been getting crucified,sound`s like he was seriously miscast.Kate Winslet`s performance is being praised but I think the lukewarm reception for this might hurt her Oscar chances.  yeah, it's nowhere near Blue Jasmine apparently, Winslet can have some problems, but i think it's not over for her chances yet. but Allen and Amazon Studios Chief (allegations of sexual harassment) doesn't make it any easier for her edit: someone from AW was at the press conference and talked to Kate afterwards, told her she had been robbed by Vikander, and she responded that she knew she wasn't going to win, and that her and Rooney were talking about it throughout the whole season  I remember Kate talking to Rooney during a break of the Oscar. |

I remember Kate talking to Rooney during a break of the Oscar. do you?! i didn't noticed this then  but it's super cool thought, just Roons and Kate Winslet bonding over an Oscar race  i just remember Rooney said on the red carpet that she knows for sure she won't win that night  There was picture I can't find it, Kate went to where Rooney was seated, I'll keep looking, maybe someone knows where that pic is. |

After BAFTAs it was definitely clear that Rooney won't win anything at the Oscars. It was night of humiliation for Carol and very ugly, compared to all other nominated films. If anything, Rooney, Cate and Todd arrived at the Oscars without expectations. They had fun posing for the photos together.

I would like to see that photo ! I remember only one where Roons is standing next to Leo and Kate is on the steps.

I'm looking for it, but can't find it... I'll find it whenever I'll search something else as always. She was on her seat and Kate went to say hi, maybe telling her how great she was in Carol ;) . That was during a commercial break, also I remember a video from E! I guess, where she opens her purse and takes out something that looked like a power ball or a granola bar piece, and put it in her mouth :lol2: they have to carry food If they want to survive so many hours without food during that ceremony. |
