So awesome. I hope she asks for House, since she wrote a memoir ... I miss Rooney so much but I think this year is dedicated to Hiraeth. As you said 2019 it has to be. I would like her to make many films but at the same time I have a lot of respect for her need to develop other areas of her being whether in charity or building a brand. In interviews she said she had read scripts, so it's not permanent. She’ll be back |

I feel the same, believe me. Being a Rooney fan for a long time now, it's impossible for me at this point not to respect her career decisions besides film (especially if they are for noble cause) - humanitarian work, veganism, protection of animals or new fashion brand.
New Awards season will start in few weeks - and without Rooney again; in the meantime many of her peers will collect awards and accolades for starring in good films. For me, as a fan of Rooney's acting talent it's not easy to cope with this sometimes. It's simply disappointing whatever we said.
Yes, like I said before I believe she'll be back next year. I mean it's logical, isn't it ?

Given that Joaquin will be shooting in NY from September and the fact that these too are joined at the hip , I doubt she will be taking on any roles this year(unless they're in NY too).She`s clearly placed her personal life above her career right now.So, no new roles next year either if this happens. |

That is so painful. I agree. And I know you respect her. I say it because every time as a fan, I'm sad because she does not work more I think she's a human being who lives with an enormous level of freedom, integrity and perfectionism towards her own person and that's AMAZING and worthy of praise too. |

About the movies, just a few months ago, Joaquin said in an interview that Rooney spends her nights dissecting screenplays also he said that she dedicates herself to her passion (that we know :D ). I think she sees nothing that she likes... she's doing like Carol told Therese: "Use what feels right. Throw away the rest." ;) |
