I haven't been following this years awards season, who's the favourite to win in the main categories? It`s a pretty wide open field this year, no red hot favorites.Gary Oldman seems to be the one to beat in the best actor category although Timothee Chalamet may give him a run for his money.Best actress is probably between Frances McDormand and Sally Hawkins.Best Picture is anyone`s guess.I would love to see Dunkirk win.

CMBYN and Get out, Dunkirk and Lady Bird, The Post, Three Billboards are the strongest, but it's really so hard to tell this year, there's nothing like LaLa Land, and it's good! more fun!

If it means anything the Screne Actors Guild, SAG, had four noms for Three Billboards, the next highest was two. It got best picture, best actress and two supporting actor noms as I recall. Pretty good considering only five categories for nomination.
I really enjoyed that movie and hope Frances wins something, her performance is very remarkable.

These were so boring. Meyers wasn't good, but better than Fallon last year though.

Meyers wasn't good, but better than Fallon last year though. i didn't even care enough to go through the red carpet photos I watched it... they fried Harvey, did all this times up thing, people dressed in black to show support, I’m sure Three Billboards won best picture because of the subject matter and not for the movie itself… but in the other hand they honored Kirk Douglas, he got a standing ovation, people forgot he was accused of raping Natalie Wood… confusing.

So, A Star is Born is probably going to clean up tonight and I'm fine with that.

When the industry is believed to have advanced (Moonlight)... it backs off suddenly.... a shame...and poor Amy
