good to see she was able to let it go, it sucks but at least nobody will ever take that away from her - “It was one of the most incredible experiences I’ll ever have in my life, I’m sure." such strong words!

I wonder why Fincher is an executive producer for this project, that must be freaking boring for him to do that instead of directing something. I think from that time I saw her performance as Salander, I started to see movies differently.

I thought that it was some contractual thing because he was making the trilogy, or a reward for backing off from the director's post. I would be very surprised if David has anything substancial to do with the film.

I do think Fincher made a mistake by insisting TGWTDT be released at Christmas. It would`ve found a much bigger audience if it`d been released in March/April away from the awards bait and more family friendly films. This was just not a Christmas movie. :out:

I think David should have controlled his ego a little bit before having his stuff out of the oven: Of course Sony is not going to be happy because it didn’t make it that good. They had a profit but they were told there was going to be more. With a 90 million budget, I was puzzled how little Rooney got and the difference between Daniel Salary and hers was crazy. I think People goes to see James Bond because of the character, not the actor. With Brad Pitt on the other hand, I think it is more because of him and his looks. Viggo because he’s a good actor + he’s sexy. I remember reading that they spent a lot in CGI, and while Rooney spend naked a good part of the movie, they let The actor who played Bjurman wear a speedo during the revenge scene and then they took it off with CGI… she was paying for all the extra cost of others :( .

That must have been hard to swallow, but apparently she took it way better than us ;) . When pics of her house were posted I remember the trilogy in one of the book shelves.
