i have no idea but SPIN made me laugh Sparks-Written Movie Set to Star Rihanna and Rooney Mara No Longer Starring Rihanna or Rooney Mara

all-time great synth-pop innovators Sparks wrote the film—their screenwriting debut—as well as contributed new songs to its soundtrack. Let’s hope that actually proves to be true, and that it doesn’t eventually turn out the project was actually directed by Jerry Bruckheimer with a score by Adam Levine.

If they told Amazon, Mara & Rihanna were attached, Amazon could sue the sales agent for fraudulently selling them the movie. (Not that they will)

Everything is so weird. The sale first, then the official dropped out of both stars... Secretly hoping for a delay until that Rooney can do it.

Word has arrived that both pop star Rihanna and the always-excellent Rooney Mara will not be in the movie. No word on why they’ve exited the project, a musical that will feature new tunes by the band Sparks, but it’s certainly a bummer
