Also I totally disagree with those who believe that Rooney should not be in the movie. Her role is secondary but never irrelevant. I understand what Garth meant when he said "they were lucky to have her" because there are very few actresses with as much screen presence as Rooney, who can give depth to a character with a look. The beach scene with Dev is memorable in that sense and Fincher cast her in "Social" for that same quality. As a fan I am more than proud that she chose to be a part of good films regardless of the size of her role or her ego. Only legends do that. ^it's hard to believe they're fans, but i know what do you mean, i see a lot of tweets about her "useless" role or her only porpuse is to eskimo-kiss Dev, and that can do anybody (that was quite funny actually :P ).
i like what Garth said about Rooney and her role in DP/30 interview, and that it was turn down a lot by other actresses before Rooney took it, it makes me love her even more (if it's possible) - from about 21:26

Lion is doing very well in box office, i wonder if it will drop after Oscars, but it's a big success anyway, espacialy in Australia and UK, linkin Australia Lion even moved up the ladder from no. 4 to no. 3 (while Fifty Shades Darker took its place at no.4), earning $1.51m this week. and it expands on an extra 33 screens! linki'm curious how it's doing in India  |
