Watched Top of the Lake years ago but now watched second part China Girl. It is not perfect but it is very interesting. Talking about "feminist TV" I recommend The Fall. Also watch Tales from the Loop :)

I adored NORMAL PEOPLE on Hulu. I’m not a fan of Lenny Abrahmson but here he makes a beautiful job in half of the episodes directed by him. Minimalist and subtle.I loved the diversity of the casting as well. Thanks god BBC made this and not some McAmerican studios. It’s elegant and raw at the same time. Watch! The protagonist gives me Rooney vibes. I haven’t read the book but I will
Also recommend Plot Against America in HBO. So well made. Kinda perfect

I loved “The Eddy” on Netflix and Netflix obviously isn’t doing any promotion for it. It’s beautifully made in every aspect and it has a huge heart. Hope you watch. It is very cinematic and rhythmic in its narrative too. Chazelle directed two episodes but the others directors are also great

I wasn’t expecting the morning show to be so good, specially last episode, those last 10 minutes were amazing.
I liked Defending Jacobs too, I read the book years ago and loved it, but loved even more Jacob’s dad on the series (Chris Evans).
Watched 1st episode of umbrella academy last night. Seems good.

Nice to see that one Tarly for more than 2 episodes. Robert Sheehan is so funny, loved his Daenerys moment. It took me a minute to realize a guy from Carol was there. Liked Cameron Britton’s performance, so sweet. Pogo is the best, amazing cgi, the actor’s voice fits so well. Really enjoyed the musical part of it, the cinematography kind of Wes Anderson style, the writing, all except the #5 actor. I’m not into superheroes, but after watching Defending Jacobs, I wanted to see more of Chris Evans, and also watched Avengers, except for the last one, i have to watch that one too. I watched Unorthodox a few months ago, good one. The main actress had a scene with Rooney in Mary Magdalene. |

I recently finished How to Get Away with Murder and it was really good, the show definitely improves after the second season and gets better with every following season.

Just finished Succession, great show. It took a while to get into it with the first episodes of season 1, but I was into it by episode 6. And season 2 is a noticeable step up from season 1.

Finished HBO's Watchmen and I loved it. It's bold, ambitious, well directed and riveting from beginning to end. Definitely benefits from having knowledge of the original Watchmen story.
