So about that GOT finale... I read the leaks a while ago so I knew what was going to happen (I wasn't even surprised when I read them), I don't love it, I don't hate it, it's in the middle of the road. It seems to end in a way that mostly makes sense but it felt like something was missing, I just didn't feel anything at the end. I felt the exact same way.I was weirdly unemotional whilst I was watching it,I didn't even cry when Jon killed Dany.I predicted Bran would end up on the throne but I hate the fact that he did,it was such an anti climatic way to end the show.The whole thing just felt so rushed,like they tried to squash 3 seasons worth of material into 6 episodes.The only real highlight for me was that gorgeous shot of Drogon rising up behind Dany.  What a way to destroy a show, they had the actors, the production, ressources, fans... and those writers. I would have preferred Jon and Bran switched places… so unfair for Jon. Unfair for many characters mostly for Dany. But I like the endings for Sansa, Arya, Brienne, Tyron , Pod and Davos. Sam should have be the autor of that book. And now, unsubscribe from HBO next week after watching the documentary. |

Bran as king is a joke even thought they try to justify it. What was he doing during the battle of Winterfell? Everybody I know who has been watching the show are so upset with the last 3 episodes. George wanted 13 seasons for a reason. |

(beyond the performances) No,not just you.I thought it was really disappointing.It's just feels silly and contrived now,I think the fact that Phoebe Waller Bridge is no longer the show runner is the reason for the drop in quality.Stlll love Jodie Comer though,she's been killing it this season.Does anyone else watch Fleabag?.That show is a stone cold masterpiece.  |

Watched the first episode of Too Old to Die Young, definitely done by Nicolas Winding Refn. It’s like an hour and 30 mins long and there’s like at least 5 seconds between each line. Yet I liked what I saw, j just hope that sometime within the next few episodes it really speeds up.

Yet I liked what I saw, j just hope that sometime within the next few episodes it really speeds up. I just finished watching the whole thing,unfortunately the pace remains glacial throughout but it's so gorgeously shot I just couldn't switch it off.Overall I really liked it but it does test your patience. |
