Hi! Long time lurker on Rooney's IMDb forum. Finally cracked and made an account for this one.
Anyone interested in Rooney's fashion? On and off the red carpet. I know she hates the red carpet but I loooove her style. Sometimes I like to make red carpet predictions when a new collection comes out and I thought I'd make a thread in case anyone else is interested!
None of Rooney's regular designers have put out their latest collections yet but when they do, I'll try to add some pics of what I'd like to see Rooney in. Or we can just talk about Rooney's style in general.

 it's a good idea, i wish i knew more about fashion though, i'm afraid i'll be rather useless here :D , but i usually love her "street" style and her red carper looks are def on my the best lists from event to event. i usually have no idea who she's wearing, but i love that's never anything flashy and extreme, she's not drawing attention to herself at all costs, and that's so different from the rest of the ladies walking on red carpets 8D btw, i came across 2 articles lately, about designer Giles Deacon, who speaks highly about Rooney (and ofc i don't know who that is, so i don't know if it's a good thing or not O_o ) linklink

I didn't know much about fashion either but with sites like redcarpetfashionawards I started getting super into it! My best source is vogue dot com. They have all the pictures from runway shows. I've not yet seen Giles Deacon's collection but that's exciting that he says he'd want to dress Rooney!
I'd love to see Rooney in more Chanel and Givenchy, that's when she's at her best. I love her minimal hair and makeup, she lets all the focus be on the clothes and it's very minimal. She definitely has one of the best styles out there out of all of "young" Hollywood.
Once I figure out how to post pictures, I'll start adding some to the thread.

Thanks for the warm welcome :) I have no idea about that top but I can do some digging and get back to you. I think Rooney has such a unique style, and you can tell it's very tailored to her taste she's not afraid to go against what everyone else is wearing and I love that about her. Here are some looks (within the designers she's known to wear) I hope to see on Rooney this year. Hopefully for Mary Magdalene promo! Rochas (Fall 2017 collection, she wore Rochas at the Cannes premiere of Carol):  Giambattista Valli Pre Fall 2017 (she wore GV at Pan premiere and during awards season last year):  Givenchy:   Still waiting on Calvin Klein, Alexander McQueen + Chanel's new collections, so will add to this thread when those are up :) |

2 first are great! but these shoes in the second one  what about Riccardo Tisci? no longer with Givenchy, i know. but Rooney's dresses were more "his" or actually Givenchy? so to speak. if he's gone, i wonder if Rooney will want to work with him, or she will stick with the brand? any thoughts? |

Agreed. I hope whoever ends up wearing that GV dress goes with a diff pair of shoes.
I'm not sure about Givenchy. I think Rooney had a close relationship with Riccardo Tisci (he said she was his dream woman or something like that) so I think she'd want to work with him in the future but that doesn't necessarily mean she couldn't wear Givenchy too.
