I`m kinda fascinated by these two.I was a huge fan of Rooney and Charlie together,he seems like such a nice guy.But I must admit R&J do make a weird kind of sense.They seem like similar creatures,private,intense, artistic.Maybe she`s found her soulmate. ;)

I don't see this as "shipping" thread; more like free, open discussion about Rooney and her current relationship with a man who is, at the same time, one of the best actors in Hollywood right now.
We are clearly not paranoid like some people on that other place (at least I hope so  ) but I must admit - some of their "theories" were amusing to read  . So many psychologists there !

To me they seem like a perfect couple. If you look closely on their filmographies they have very similar style and Rooney is slowly becoming female, younger version of Joaquin - both great actors, greatly respected among sophisticated movie buffs for their artistic choices. Of course, they will never be immensely popular or big box-office draw like Jennifer Lawrence/Leonardo DiCaprio because they are not interested in mainstream very much and - I must say this - they actually are not afraid to take a risk sometimes in their careers. :diva2: But it's not important anyway.
We don't know how long their relationship will last; let's enjoy while we can.

I'm personally not into these real life conspiracy shipping gossip bullshit and I'm still KIND of skeptical that they're ACTUALLY dating, but if it is true, it isn't surprising. Their flashbacks scenes and divorce scene in Her speak volumes onto themselves. More so than Rooney and Cate, you can't fake chemistry like that-that's real genuine connection between two human beings. Spike Jonze said they really did seem like they fell in love and then broke in that short time span, and it shows. If it is true, I'm happy for them and look forward to seeing them in future projects together. They both have tremendous presence as individual actors but when coupled together it creates unforgettable scenes like the ones in Her.
