Kate Mara deserves awards consideration for “Megan Leavey”


wouldn't it be fun seeing two Maras walking awards red carpets together?

It’s not so difficult to find non leather shoes, jackets, purse, etc, just read the tag, sometimes shoes that are apparently synthetic have some leather hidden on them in the tongue and eyelets. I still wear some non vegan stuff that are 10 years old or more that I bought before all this, normally my stuff last me a lot like new, so I wear stuff I have from around that time too, I’m more careful now with the new stuff I buy, but it is not so complicated.

Thanks to Peta, big brands are going cruelty-free, i love their tactics, they send subscribers e-mails explaining the problem and ask you to sign a petition that mostly is a blackmail message that is send directly to the organization/company, and then sometimes just a few days later you receive a victory e-mail from Peta because they are scared to loose money. Same way we got vegan meatballs from Ikea.

Also there are brands that are 100% vegan now and brands that have some of their products labeled as vegan, so you are guaranteed that even the glue on your shoes does’t come from a horse.

If you get your movies online you can get your vegan stuff there too ;) .

I really admire people who are able to give up meat but I just don`t think I could do it. I can`t imagine life without Bacon.

Nice to see Megan Leavey do well this weekend.It didn`t break any records but it opened bigger than expected and got some nice reviews.I`m always rooting for Kate to become a bigger star. :woohoo3:

Kate was on the late late show recently also, hopy you Kare fans catched the ep. ☺️

I watched it, during the intro in which James announces who is going to be on the show, they showed them each in their dressing room. They showed Kate standing on the door complaining her agent and her people were in Lily’s dressing room. Then James told her that she had a connecting door to Lily’s, she opened it, Lily was there and behind her other people, one of them the guy that does Rooney’s hair… I’m not sure if Kate or Lily of both are his clients. Then during the interview, he congratulates her for her engament and apparently he’s invited to her wedding (or he invited himself), he asked if he could sing something there, she told her maybe the fist dance song, he suggested a Billy Elliot song (from the musical) so Jamie could do his moves there, or the kiss me song by sixpence non the richer. She mentioned also she once auditioned for broadway for the Sound of music when she was 13 and was refused because the was too tall, she said she prayed she stops growing up or something like that, she said she hasn’t grow up ever since :lol2: . I was going to record it but thought they would upload the whole thing. Oh and last week she was on Live with Kelly and joked she may save in a double wedding because her little bro is engaged too.

thanks, she's really good with stuff like this, i find most of the talk shows and guests there rather cringeworthy, Kate was great though :
