Someone who doesn’t know how short her screen time is could think she’s one of the lead actors, she takes more space in that poster than anybody else. I wouldn’t have presented this and the other poster for festivals, most movies doesn’t have one during that time anyway. yep, they are advertising the movie using her name and face recognision while screwing her over in the storytelling (similar what Lion did, but looks like Lucy was more developed and people then complained that posters and stills are misleading) At least they spent maybe two hours to remake the poster (I think the previous one took five minutes to make) This is the only positive thing I see from today I can't save anything else, not the film reviews and how GVS wasted Rooney, nor the behaviour of the lead actor... I hope those young people listening to GVS don't see JP as an example of professionalism to follow

I really wonder what Rooney wants out of her career, because getting to be the "protagonist girlfriend" in movies like that will not lead to anything. But I'll still watch, at least it seems to be better than the others he's made. And the reviews say that Joaquin is very good

Her role in this movie wouldn't be a problem at all if she, at the same time, has better parts in one or two more demanding, challenging projects; with great potential.
Why she isn't on the Vox Lux set right now, after more than a whole year of break, is the real problem. Especially after being attached to it for so long. :no2:
I only hope that her decision isn't to become vegan fashion designer and completely drop from acting - just like that. That would be really bad, anti-climatic scenario for her movie career and incredible waste of talent.
I'm scared a little...

She's doing a full-fledged Daniel Day Lewis (one of her idols) devoting herself to other things ... but she's not going to give up before doing House in the Sky, I hope the movie works out this year

Not only A House in the Sky but many other projects too. We all know she is more than capable for greatness in her movie career. And she needs something great right now...

I want her in a lot of movies with amazing directors but “ Rooney is her own person, her own actress”

sorry are ppl surprised by joaquin being visibly uncomfortable/“unprofessional” at press conferences? that’s how he’s always been. you don’t have to like it but it reminds me of how ppl are continually shocked when Rooney fails to smile on red carpets, even tho she’s been the same for years

Roons is uncomfortable at these things too, but she's never rude, she at least makes an effort, if any woman would act like he did, press would torn her to pieces
