I keep seeing Lily Collins name on social media very often mentioned in comparison to Rooney, especially in relation to fashion and events (new Rooney Mara) but also acting and even Audrey Hepburn's role in potential biopic (rofl) i don't know much about her, i saw her only in Rules Don't Apply, the movie was not so good (pretty bad actually), but she was decent though, i didn't make the connection between her and Rooney then, i wonder if you guys see something in it? or did someone else caught your attention in that context?
only a few after the last night Met Gala

I think Millie Bobby Brown has potential to be new Rooney in 10-15 years. No very much physical resemblance (she looks more like love child of Winona Ryder and Natalie Portman) but in terms of talent and similar style.
And Rooney is a fan also. :

Lily Collins tries too hard. But she did look really good at the Met Gala, for a second I did think that was Roons.

I think the connection people make between Rooney and Lily Collins is that they both look like Audrey Hepburn despite not looking that much like each other.

Every young up and coming film actress with a slight mousey and introverted quality gets dubbed as the "New Audrey Hepburn". Carrey Muligan looks nothing like her and everyone was going on about how she was the new Audrey.

Comparing Mulligan to her doesn't make any sense, but Rooney and Collins both do look a bit like her, I think.
