Charlie discussing his romantic life with Emilia’s fans in twitter....
Why he cares what strangers think of him?

Just went through the replies on his post and wish I hadn't.

Why don't they mention him? The trailer was boring for me: But I'll watch the series anyway. At least the pilot

I have seen some other positive reviews, but none of them mention him in a meaningful way or talk about his vision. Kristen’s interviews either. ...Today anyone writes a review anyway. I feel bad for him. If I had filmed a whole season and nobody talks about me I would be sad. Especially if the press had access to the 10 episodes I haven’t seen the episodes yet.

Just watched the pilot of On Becoming a God directed by Charlie. The premise bored me a little. It is like old television. It lacks ambition and risk so far ... but there is something nice about Charlie as a TV director, he uses his good taste of an outstanding student AT THE SERVICE OF THE STORY and his person disappears.
I think that as an author and filmmaker he has the same good taste but he is too self-aware of himself (social media celebrities have that) and you can see the web of references and intellectual intentions behind each step put there without always being able to train a whole It's like if he said: “hey look now I'm quoting PTA or Kubrick” or “hey this dialogue is really deep” or “look how smart, cool me and my partner are ... And the truth is that what makes a great filmmaker happens to a Subconscious level, it is the result of the sum of the parts that gives an unexpected result, a sort of magic that nobody saw coming. Ask Lowery and his Ghost Story.
Well, in the show, his hand flows without a mirror and it's nice to see even though the tone of the series is very limiting.
The scriptwriter of Foxcatcher is advising him and Justin in the script of the new movie, so I'm interested in it.
Kristin is great in it
