That Swedish actor really looks like twin brother of Bjorn Borg. On the other hand, Shia...more like a caricature of McEnroe

Yeah, bit of a weird choice. The Magnificent Seven opened TIFF last year so it`s no indicator of quality.

I know she wasn't entirely done with the post on this. But she seems to be stuck in the editing room with it. Probably should just let it be the way it is.

The two films I'm most interested to see this year (besides AGS and Phantom Thread) - Mary Magdalene and You Were Never Really Here - are absent from fall festivals. :-/ It sucks that basically everything else - good, bad or mediocre - is there, exposed but these two are not.

Agreed. Especially to "everything's there" part. So disappointed. Still I think MM is good. I mean TIFF or festivals line ups aren't synonymous of quality. Look at the Secret Scripture last year. It was in every festival and is so bad...

It was in every festival and is so bad... Film festivals are weird sometimes, and doesn’t guarantee quality, I’ve watched a bunch of film festivals that made me wonder why they were picked up. Also I’ve watched a short about how hard is to place your stuff in Sundance for an unknown… not long ago David Lowery said he made like 15-18 submissions before he got accepted at Sundance with a short film. Sheridan gets accepted just for his name, he doesn’t need the “I’m a CEO bitch” business card, i bet they even didn’t see it in order to accept his movie at TIFF. But I really want to see TSS just because of Rooney.

If Lynne isn't ready with the film, then I can understand waiting. It has already had a world premiere and was very well received. MM confuses me. I can understand employing a different promotional strategy since it is religion based (at least maybe I can). But everything regarding MM is so silent leaving anyone interested with "what is up?". Even the possible switch for Current Wars release to November is just a rumor at this point as all other outlets on the internet (that I can find) are saying it is still releases 12/22/17. If this was an official press release others would be changing that to November by now. But then why would anyone, (Harvey?) want to lead others to that conclusion by starting such a rumor? Maybe he is trying to negotiate with Universal regarding Oscar promotional costs. As it is now, a successful Oscar campaign would generate big bucks for Universal with it's March openings and TWC would be absorbing the entire cost. At any rate there I go again, talking to much.
