Sounds like Louis CK is up next.The premiere for his new film I love You Daddy has been cancelled in anticipation of a NYT article that`s about to be published.Lots of gross rumors about this guy.  I actually thought he was one of the decent ones in Hollywood until I found out a few months ago what an asshole he was. It was really disappointing to hear the shit he pulled/maybe still pulls. These people in power really think that their position in the industry gives them a free pass to do whatever they want, don't they?I wonder how many women there are in the industry who abuse their power and pull similar shit on others. May not be the same amount as men, but I'm sure there's enough. The sad thing is no one talks about that.
I sometimes think that secret groups (like one in Eyes Wide Shut) really exist; and not only in the film industry but on a much larger level. Powerful, untouchable (and largely anonymous) elite - protected from everyone and everything. Who would dare to accuse them of anything ?
What's happening in Hollywood in the past few weeks is only the top of the iceberg. The other, bigger and probably more scary part will remain beyond reach.

I think you`re right about the `bigger and probably more scary part` remaining beyond reach.The idea that all of the men(and some women)who do this will be bought to justice is just not true.There are horrendous rumors about David Geffen for example, that he is part of a very powerful Hollywood Pedophile ring.But he is a Billionaire and therefore wealthy enough to pay off his victims, so he will probably continue to get away with it.  |

What a bully Brett Ratner is. This is the first time i read that an actor regrets working for Woody Allen. Incredible that thanks to journalism, the brave women who are talking and social media authorities must be feeling the pressure to do something. Over here, men from tv have been filed and lost their jobs, i have no idea who they are because I got rid of my TV, but there's one I know who is: Gilbert Rozon the founder of Just For Laughs had been filed of sexual assault. |

Naturally, I'll always support the right cause and all sexual offenders must get their deserving punishment but are there any concrete proofs for this new accusations ? Or in this current climate is enough only to put your finger at someone to ruin them ? "I don't like this actor, director, writer so I'll proclaim on social media that he is sexual offender and many people will instantly believe in every word" ? (of course, this is exaggeration but who knows ?)

Scary. (Remember, in that time this was also seen as a moral, good cause supported by everyone. And in the process many innocent lives were destroyed or blacklisted).

I do agree we have to be very, very careful.Just naming someone on social media does not make them guilty.People have got their blood up right now and I`m also afraid that innocent men will get caught up in this too.That being said, people have to feel that they can name their assailant/abuser and be believed.It`s a real dilemma.  |

Agree, this all started with that women asking other woman to speak if they had been victims of 2 people and she censored part of the names… very irresponsable and mean. Riz, Azzis and Dev seems decent guys to me. And I hate how people are already putting their names on that horrible list. |
