I`m dreading the day someone I really like is revealed as a sexual predator.So far it`s largely been the `known` harassers like Weinstein and Ratner who have been outed.There are bound to be some shocks in store.  |

Maybe Academy Awards should introduce "Pervert of the Year" category at the Oscar ceremony ? :lol2: Harvey is obvious frontrunner this season and I bet it would be pretty crowded every year - along with "Hypocrite of the Year" award (the 1st one goes to collective winner - half of the Hollywood elite).

Tarantino's words about Cate's films were unbelievably arrogant and non-professional. Lost much of respect for him after he said that.
His filmography is overrated as f**k. Almost always the same talkative, overlong, uber-violent, childish revenge fantasy BS. Though the beginning in the 1990s was very promising and fresh. Reservoir Dogs was a nice introduction, Pulp Fiction is a classic no doubt, Jackie Brown is his most underrated movie. But since then he has got progressively worse in my opinion. Never cared for Kill Bill duo (actually I think they are awful), Inglorious Basterds was interesting homage-experiment, with potential to be great but ultimately ruined by some questionable Tarantino's decisions and some really dumb, borderline idiotic scenes; Django is a fun for a while but becomes a struggle soon after - overlong and predictable (with probably the worst director cameo in cinema history). And I don't even remember anything about The Hateful Eight.
Don't understand why critics today shits on Malick but they continue to praise Tarantino. If anyone has become a parody of his former self that's certainly Quentin. But his movies are loved by the mainstream audience and make money. Good use of soundtracks and colorful characters are enough for them. Yeah...

He knew and minimized what Weinstein did to her and took a big part in punishing her … I’ve seen only 2 of his movies now moving him on my not to see list. So Weinstein is in rehab, how come it's taking so long to put him in prison, they should put him in the same cell with Larry Nassar. |

The Hateful Eight ws aweful, how it got 3 oscars nom is beyond me. apparently it wasn't the ony time Tarantino acted as a "strangler" of an actress during his movies, how gross is to write and act out your fetishes in front of the camera? Woody Allen does this crap too, i wonder if there will be some backlash and if it will affect Tarantino's new movie, frankly i doubt it |
