This girl got Rooney's autograph in TIFF and Cate's autograph in Broadway after The Present. Pretty souvenir. #historical
Lucky girl ;)

It's really interesting how many people transitioned from Roons haters to Roons lovers on AW. Only goes to show Rooney's power of surprising . With Vox Lux there should be no more room for haters

It was really that bad on AW before ? Really don't understand. Was it "Rich family and connections" thing, jealousy or her role in Pan ? Or Hollywood version of TGWTDT ?

I think it was a mix of everything. But the thing that stood out to me was most of them didn't think she had it in her to give a decent performance But Therese came in and crushed their "Alternative Facts"

Carol review from one Letterboxd user (December):
I agree with this dude completely. And he has a very good film taste as you can see: link

It didn't necessarily blow my mind when I saw it, but like Her, I couldn't get it out of my thoughts days after I saw it. Like In the Mood for Love, there's this wonderful hypnotic quality to the way it's shot, especially the last scene. Need to re-watch it again to fully process it.

This film being talked about two years later just shows how much of a masterpiece it is, I'll always love this film, it's so amazing. Every shot, every minute. Yes, it is really a master piece! :) we can expect it would be very remembered in the future. Also in acting school, Rooney as a great example .

I love minimalistic posters :), they say more than just placing a random picture and generic text.
