I remember when after the 2016 noms were announced even the Academy's official page got confused and added Carol in their BP category   They did a similar thing with Amy Adams this year, she wasn't nominated but the Oscars page showed she was nominated and confused everyone so much so that GMA or someone similar had to issue an apology to her and their viewers because they announced the nominees going by the Oscars official page. Talk about messing up. These guys have one job  |

It's really interesting how many people transitioned from Roons haters to Roons lovers on AW. Only goes to show Rooney's power of surprising . With Vox Lux there should be no more room for haters
And it seems that AW LOVES Carol (not that this mini-survey from week ago means something but it's interesting to read)

But, despite strong gay element in the movie, I think Moonlight should be compared more with Boyhood. As a coming-of-age story it beats Boyhood on almost every level (just my opinion, no hate Boyhood fans  ).
