Someone told Rooney on Hiraeth IG this and I learned that her grandfather and her Family have a nice relationship with Joe Biden since Dan Rooney was Ireland's ambassador in the Obama administration... Also one of her aunts died a year ago very young :(   |

Trump losing elections is a good thing for domestic America, no doubt; but I personally have zero enthusiasm for Biden. He was typical careerist, opportunistic, mediocre Washington politician working for big donors for the past 50 years (and one of the biggest warmongers also) so now, he suddenly becoming "the most decent person in the world" makes me scratch my head.  Still remember how excited I was about Obama in 2008 and my utter disappointment when he picked Biden as vice-president and Hillary as secretary of state.
And interventionist foreign policy very likely starting again is not a good news in any way. Wait and see - more interference, more "forced regime change" policy (and more dead innocent people in the process), more instability in those regions - this is all coming in the next four years. Not that many Americans and western Europeans will care though...
