That's true; I just wish it was someone else in his place, someone more hopeful.  Most under-30 Americans (or even under-40) can expect very little from his presidency except usual political phrases and promises. And Kamala doesn't seem much better.

Yeah I was hoping for Bernie but the Democratic Party was determined not to have him despite him seeming to be the most popular candidate and a lot of people genuinely excited about him and his policies. I think Biden will probably only do one term as President, and then they’ll be another Democratic primary.

 Even if I don't agree with him on everything (and he is not perfect like many of his followers like to think) Bernie winning the primary (and very probably elections) would've mean so much to many younger people, a hope that something would move from a dead end at least. But he also made mistakes in the primary, unnecessary alienating the whole party establishment and self-destructing his chances in the process; he should have played more smarter/less naïve (although they would fcked him in any way) . Remember how establishment was desperate in February, even trying to nominate Bloomberg lol. And hell...he would maybe even made it if Elizabeth Warren dropped out much earlier, before super tuesday (Warren was great in humiliating Bloomberg but she was pretty useless in everything else in the primary).

 But you know that even if Sanders won by some miracle the mainstream media would treat him even worse than Trump. It's funny that many Americans think that he is a communist or something that should be avoided at all cost (even though he is nothing more than moderate left-center socialist, like many in power here in Europe). And even funnier that Hillary and Biden are considered left-wingers by many. That only shows how right-wing and conservative the whole country is.
