That thing above is Vox Lux script front page. It's from someone who works for film distribution company that will be at Berlin film festival market. Apparently, he/she didn't like it very much.
Summary in one brief sentence:
Basically Celeste sells her soul to the devil to become famous.
Idk, at first I thought this is a joke but that cover makes me think it might be true. Thoughts ? It, kinda, makes me more exited for some reason? Sounds bonkers in a good way, at least different. :P Also, it's just a visualization, but maybe that's what Rooney's hair is for? |

Now, the part about it not being a good script is obviously subjective, but you can trust that what they said regarding the plot and having the script is accurate. |

Yea, I saw this post too, didn't know what to make of it. If anything Vox Lux sounds more risky than I thought (Which I love btw). I think this might end up being one of those films where there will be enough detractors as much as the people who will love it. If anything I'm more excited to see this. Sounds so mysterious.

I think everything in this movie is exciting, risky and ambitious in a good way. Look at "Childhood" it's not a feel good movie at all and Corbet is very unapologetic in his choices which is a plus for me. Also think her new hair is ( or was) because the shooting. And I think there will be periods of filming with and without Rooney due the historical context. Childhood had a lot of fragments of different sources and textures... Glad that Jude is in the movie after all. Liked his doctor-patient chemistry with Rooney in Side Effects. Wonder if his role is villainous. Maybe he is "devil" in disguise as amoral manager who takes Celeste on the path of self-destruction ?
