damn, it doesn't look good, right? Jude Law starts filming 'Fantastic Beasts' (Dumbledore) this summer, he's working on a London play right now, i don't see how he can do VL :'( unless it was pushed back (hopefully it didn't fall apart completely) Fantastic Beasts actor Jude Law on playing Albus Dumbledore |

Are these rumors from Awards Watch about Jude dropping out confirmed or still only speculations ? They were right about Rooney and Annette.

I don't think AW came up with that. Unless they shared more info (if they did I don't remember). I remember being the one who posted here (when Jude signed onto FB) asking you guys what his casting for FB would mean for Vox Lux. There is no official news. We're just trying to read between the lines. |

It's almost June and we don't know much, no new cast members and now Jude is also under big question mark. I want to be very wrong on this but it looks to me like Vox Lux will be postponed. Fall is reserved for House so it's either summer or next year for Vox Lux. I wouldn't mind if this happens, the most important is that they get everything right (like Carol). After waiting five years on Song to Song a couple of months more is really nothing. And Roon probably needs a small rest anyway.
I really hope that we will hear something new in the next two-three weeks.

There is something definitely going on with this project, according to the DGA, there's still no start wrap/date. Isn't filming suppose to occur next month?Yes. It's all very confusing. |

but i assumed Rooney dropped out of Annette for summer shooting of VL, it has to be very painful for her if it wasn't necessary after all. also September fot A House isn't confirmed either, it was just one single random source, practically we don't know anything about anything  |

A busy September for Telluride and TIFF (for MM) is my best guess which would include both Garth and Rooney. Who knows after that. Charles |

i need some balance, from Roons private life to work now  , is this official somehow, something new poped up somewhere? i can't find anything yet, but i looks like VoxLux starts in NY in June (or is this just an old news? ) |
