This delay is almost all on Relativity. Now with the reviews others are hesitating, I honestly wish it had landed a distribution deal before the premiere at TIFF. I wonder if they had gotten one similar to the way Una seemed to have had one from Netflix (?), but they let that go because they were looking for an awards run. I wish they had stuck to that deal. I wonder if TSS got something similar their way which they might be regretting now.

yeah, it had pretty unfortunate start, i remember my surprise reading something like "Rooney Mara’s movie held captive in bankruptcy purgatory" that's why i love so much how Rooney says "i'm maaad about Jim Sheridan..." in that last video! glad she had a chance to work with him, that's the good part and it makes all problems with this movie a little bit less painfull for me :)

And on a second thought I think we should all just be happy with the fact that TSS is out of Relativity's hands. Those guys were a mess, I remember feeling so relieved to hear when they got out of the studio "jail". It was an accomplishment in it's own right. What this film has suffered. Jesus.

omg!! I really love how Sheridan describes Rooney as actress. Control and abandon. Dark and light. Contradictions at the same time is so Rooney, like Cate said in her memorable speech. It's a quality very few have and belongs to greatest actors of all time like Huppert or Daniel Day Lewis. I think that's the reason I was drawn to Rooney as a fan. And the reason I participate in this forum is that it saddens me that she gets hatred from certain people who demand that she fill a mold that she did not ask for
