{Spoiler!}Does this count as "solid proof" nenya or we must still wait for something more convincing ?
Is that a shade against me?
Not at all, believe me

:D you guys are very funny, I would rather Prince Harry for her, they are very similar and he's freaking hot... but too bad royalty can't work, and we would lost her. How about Adam and Eve for the next one, but not the ones from the bible, I'm talking about my favourite trilogy Maddaddam (in pre production still) There are Eves and Adams in a vegetarian cult, one of the most out of the box stuff i've ever read.
Nooo renoh :anger4: I don't want Grace Kelly fate for her; and yeah, she would be lost for movies forever (or maybe not ? After all this is 21. century, not 1956). And when you think about it - maybe she had enough of "proper" families in her life ? Idk, it probably gets boring after a while.
She already played Eve (sort of) in Song to Song (with Gos as Adam and Fassy as Devil ). So, maybe something else ? For example, if you want historical movie - Joaquin could play Napoleon any time (physical resemblance and height) and Rooney would be perfect as Desiree, his first love ? Marlon Brando and Jean Simmons were good in 1954 film:
But if this seems little out of place for them, I'd like to see them playing modern, successful, perfect couple but with some dark secrets beneath - very much like Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman in Eyes Wide Shut. It would be great in my opinion.
I was just telling, you know, for saving her some time, kissing frogs is fun though till she finds her prince ;) . The Adam and Eve I’m talking about, has nothing to do with Genesis, just the names. I didn’t enjoy much Eyes wide shout, maybe because I don’t like when the actor posses too much for the camera. Also that piano score with repeating high monotonous notes of the piano was crashing my brain.

It would be great in my opinion. frankly, i don't want them to "overdo" this, i mean 3 movies together?! it's enough. i don't want them to limit themselves like that. there are so many opportunities, so many directors and actors i would love Rooney to work with and learn from. why stick to just one, when you can have so many enriching (and different) experiences "out there" ::) naah, i'm good for now.

Music for the Eyes Wide Shut has remained slightly unfinished because Kubrick died four days after completing his first (and final) cut, according to his associates. High piano notes were quite adequate for two-three tense scenes, in my opinion.
I love the movie but yeah, Cruise really did pose for the camera very much in this one I must agree with you.

I didn't mean she should play with him forever, just one or two projects more - in five or ten years from now (they don't even need to be a couple at that point in their lives). We only saw Her so far and their chemistry in that five-minute scene (together with flashbacks) was absolutely perfect. We can expect only greatness from them in MM and probably something similar in Callahan.
Not to mention that working with Joaquin who is one of the best method actors in Hollywood is certainly great experience for her.

This is on my list to watch along with plenty of other great movies that I've never caught up with. It's difficult to see or buy these movies (especially if it has explicit sexual content in it) in a place where censorship knows no bounds. I'll try to somehow manage to watch it soon though.

It was advertised as explicit sexual content back in those days, I saw it in the theatre and didn't think it was that explicit, this days it looks as a Disney movie.

sure, as far as it's not too much. it could easly turn into a cliche (it already is a bit, met on the movie set and fell madly in love :P ) or what's worse into a routine! :D i'm not questioning Joaquin's acting skills but i'd rather see Rooney expand beyond whatever he can teach her. sky is the limit!

People lose their shit when two people kiss on screen. I sometimes can't believe the place I live in, it's ridiculous. These people think the people of our country won't be able to take it as it's somehow against our "culture", "tradition" or whatever like we're all a bunch of two year olds. I mean for crying out loud I can't go to the theatre anymore because if you don't stand up to sing the national anthem before the film starts playing you get thrown out for not being "patriotic". It's sounds silly but sometimes it does feel like dictatorship is slowly taking over. Hopefully my generation of people will make sure that doesn't happen. I mean why should watching a film be such a messy problem. It wasn't this bad before. They didn't cut out scenes before like the way they do now. Actually they don't cut scenes out, they zoom in on the edge of the screen so that nobody sees the scene (It's funny how the sound keeps running though). That's so much more embarrassing sitting in the audience. I can't believe I watched Gone Girl like that. Never going back. Better off watching stuff at home.

What you have to sing your national anthem before the film starts playing? where are you?... actually the sex scene was kind of zoomed and cover a little with a vase or something like that I don't remember well, I only remember it was a reflexion in a mirror.

I watched it yesterday after 7-8 years and it was great ! But seriously, there isn't much explicit scenes
{Spoiler!} One big orgy in the middle of the film and one naked woman (big deal !) at the beginning. And yeah, Nicole is also naked in few scenes. Nothing special, really. And quite usual for today's standards.
Movie has aged like a fine wine. It's in my top 10 of the 1990s now :
And this trailer is perfect, although little misleading:

I'm from India. I'm still baffled at the national anthem thing. It's a new rule, one I can't believe exists. We as a country weren't so stupid before. This is a new low.

I'm obsessed with your culture since the mid 90's :) , here if we would have that rule, I'm sure the movie wouldn't be projected because nobody knows O Canada by heart.
