Nice to hear you enjoyed the book. Yeah, for every Alicia scene I had Rooney's face on my mind.
Pitt is definitely old for the role. And for commercialism - I'm afraid that the lead actress, not lead actor - will be the one on the "bankable" side. In that case, Rooney will have small chance to get the role (if we assume that she wants it). 
Do you think that, for the movie, they'll change setting from UK to USA ? I'm almost always against it but in this case it wouldn't hurt the plot at all.
Probably because Kathy is a theater actress <3 I thought New York would be perfect. Rooney has a plus about it too: her natural royalty in the city :) Did you see someone besides Fincher on it?
Soderbergh maybe ? I think Paul Verhoeven would be good at this too.
If he was alive, Curtis Hanson probably the ideal choice but...

It would be great. Those photos at the fertility clinic a few months ago worried me a little. It's so painful to go through those kinds of processes...Maybe it was good news

If not, I think she will be, eventually, and the combination of talent will be epic sooner or later :) If she is, I think for her and for any woman being pregnant these days is challenging and special. I don't think there is another moment that makes you wonder more about the future and the kind of life you want or don't want to have ... and in that sense I think that the participation of Rooney and Joaquin in these recent campaigns of the planet care is extra moving (I'm in Garth Davis mode again :) ) |
