oh no, next is the trailer and then the movie itself, it's not healthy, i'm telling you ;)
To lower my expectations on SONG TO SONG ? Impossible ! Not after five years of waiting and this cast. And it's totally irrelevant what will critics say. The laws of film critics do not apply to Malick's films. ;)
Yup. Malick's films are so singular, and the abstract and poetic aspect of it isn't for everyone. So I never take the critics/audiences reactions as seriously as I would other films. His films are so subjective. Which I love. And I'm quite sure good/bad/ugly I'm going to enjoy it. I even liked KOC for what it was, I guess the poetic aspect always gets to me

KOC already has its place on some "Best of" film lists Still shy but only one year has passed.

Glad to see those 3 actors together in a poster but I think it could be better. It's a Malick-Lubezki movie for god sake. The photo should be unique

Around 2015 I think, someone on indiewire or some similar site mentioned that the film was complete and ready for release but Broad Green due to some issue (maybe money related, I don't exactly remember the specifics) didn't release it sooner. I wonder if those rumors were true. And I'm really curious and worried about how BG's going to handle this film

:lol2: I don't hate him... I hate waiting though. hater? it's a little bit too much :D for me, there's just one person with such credit of unconditional trust. and it's Rooney Mara, no one else, not even Malick i'm open to the Malick experience though, bring it on!

It was a joke for renoh . I was aware that she wasn't especially big Terry fan back on the IMDb. Of course, nothing wrong with that opinion.
Oh not even Roon is immune to career mistakes. Don't forget that she made (only) one bad choice But it's normal.
To have trust in directors is brave thing but it's even better not to have it completely.

Malick haters ! :anger2:
I love Malick because his last name is also an adjective. I love when directors are adjectives and god bless Roo for working with them. I don't like his whole body of work but I respect it deeply. A frame of a bad Malick film is better than thousands hours of safe and accommodating celluloid with good reviews and Meryl in the lead :) I loved Life, Badlands and "Red Line". The existentialism of Knight seemed empty and repetitive but nobody films Cate like Malick and to see it is a joy. Seeing Rooney under Malick's lens is a privilege and a reason to celebrate. I will watch the film with a glass of wine or a piece of vegan pie :)

And I'm really curious and worried about how BG's going to handle this film Broad Green is having money troubles 100%, only have had one hit in their career (per BOX OFFICE MOJO, ONLY). They released three films last year, both of which failed to recoup their budgets (Knight of Cups, I feel failed because Broad Green's lackluster marketing), They did an article with The Hollywood Reporter last year, (the heads of the company) stating they had to cut down on premiums because of the failures. It wouldn't be a shocker if they filed. They also are no longer going to be acquiring specialty films, they are focusing on "commercial" films. Hopefully they don't treat Song to Song like Knight Of Cups. Here's the article by the way, www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/broad-green-brothers-gabriel-daniel-922530Very interesting info (once again). Thanks AHS :)
