If I remember correctly, that happened still while Obama was the president. I don't like Trump either, but I don't like the approach, he wants to be look as a good samaritan or something but in the end this sounds racist, also for a person who has no idea what the movie is about, that poster seems to be about getting a freaking visa for an 8 -year old Indian actor... It is known that the US has demanded visiting visa for most not US residents, but Harvey makes it sound that Sunny was banned, when what really happened was that he did all last minute, people actually make those papers months in advance!

Very surprised. I think screenplay is weak The scenes that were not in the book, he really nailed adding the spoon scene and the scenes between little Saroo and his mom. The only thing I was like whaaaaaat was how he portrayed Saroo's brother.

seriously, i need the director's cut/special edition of Lion ASAP! EXCLUSIVE: Oscar Nominee Luke Davies on the Scene He Wishes They Kept in ‘Lion’ [..]there were moments that didn’t make the final cut.
“There is an absolutely magnificent dance scene where Saroo and Lucy (Patel’s on-screen girlfriend Rooney Mara) are beginning to fall in love,” Davies says of an underground dance party that sees their romance start to blossom. “They start dancing tentatively and they are sort of folding into each other. Their faces are grazing and they are almost kissing but not quite. It’s a beautiful scene.”
