Also I like Freaks and Geeks and the first era of ER I watched Freaks and Geeks when it first aired, I loved it kind of a raw version of The Wonder years of the 80's. Everybody loved it but NBC cancelled it :( .

Should I watch The OA? I've only seen like the first twenty minutes of the first episode. I tried to get into it since it had the obvious connection with "The Discovery". There were things I enjoyed but ultimately it felt way too preachy and sentimental at times, and the main character became so grating that I stopped around the fourth episode. Go in with an open mind and you might enjoy it. Otherwise, I highly recommend Legion-by far my favourite show airing at the moment.

Does anyone watch Bates Motel? :) I remember watching the first two or 3 episodes of it on Netflix. I liked it, need to catch up. What do you think of it, is the rest of it really good?

Does anyone watch Big Little Lies? It's so good! Yes!.It`s fantastic and such a treat to see all of those amazing actresses on one show.Jean Marc Vallee`s direction really elevates it too .Kidman in particular, is incredible in it,there`s an Emmy heading her way I think. :clap1:

No love for Hannibal? 😅
The cancellation scarred me for life. It was almost as big dissapointment when I realized that there would be a Fincherless sequel (or no sequel) to tgwtdt 😥

Man season 2 of Mr Robot is such a fucking bummer. Lasted 3 episodes before I dropped it. I wish it would stop being so in love with itself and get on with the plot. Trying to get into Fargo in anticipation for third season in the mean time.

Girls is over and I´m gonna miss it a lot. It´s not perfect but its really really special.
the last season of The Leftovers started and it´s not a show easy to watch. But its a masterpiece.

After watching a lot of anime for a while and getting kind of tired of it, I discovered a lot of the western kids cartoon shows I missed over the years. Stuff like Gravity Falls, Steven Universe and Over the Garden Wall reignited my love for western animated shows, which then followed with Bojack Horseman. Steven Universe especially hit me hard because I grew up watching Cartoon Network religiously (it was where I learned to speak English) and seeing Steven Universe carrying the torch by somebody who clearly was a lover of CN like me growing up (Rebecca Sugar) with the most emotional mature, thoughtful animated series (and television series period) kind of turned me into a gibbering wreck. I think it and rediscovering Rooney as an actress have made the biggest impact on me as far as media I've consumed this past year.

Has anyone watched The Handmaid's Tale? It's super super good. It got picked up for a second season today. I haven’t yet, there’s no Hulu around here , I’ve read the book, I’m worried because I can’t not remember much about it :nervous: and I’m a huge Margaret Atwood fan, in fact, she’s my favourite Canadian author, I love that woman , her books are so out of the box. She’s incredible funny, has one of the nicest prose ever and has an amazing ability to give a voice to each of her characters. The Maddaddam trilogy is my favourite of her work, I’ve read it will be made by HBO. There’s a character there so for Rooney, Toby (Eve 6), I wish they ask her. Erratum: HBO is no longer interested in Maddaddam :( , but they are trying elsewhere it seems.
