I finished watching the first season of Iron fist and surprisingly liked it. It's not great by any means and has a lot of problems but I thought it was decent overall.
The action scenes for the most part are underwhelming and were a lot of the weakest parts of the show. The cast is great but some of them aren't used to their fullest potential. Finn Jones, the lead in the series has one of the weakest characters of the show and while he's passable, he should've been good at the very least. The writing also let down David Wenham, who played one of the main villains, Wenham elevated the role with his acting but his character didn't fit the villain role he was forced in. Some of the characters are good though, one of the biggest surprises was a character that was obnoxious at the beginning of the season, he had a great arc and by the end of the season is one of the best characters.
The show is slow at first and I would've liked to have seen more Iron Fisting but I was still interested throughout the show. I liked the show overall, and I hope next season is better, it is definitely the weakest of the Defenders series'.
7/10
(I may end up doing a full on proper review for this)

The Crown - Season 2 teaser. I like the idea that the new episodes will be more focused on Philip and his background; also, Elizabeth's 3rd Prime Minister Harold Macmillan and Margaret's new lover (and future husband) - Tony Armstrong Jones are the two new, interesting characters.
Michael C. Hall looks nothing like JFK though. It's hard to top that Danish guy from Jackie when it comes to physical resemblance.

On Phillip really? I think the guy who portraits him is the only bad actor in that show.

Matt Smith ? I think he is very good in the role, even if he doesn't resemble Philip very much. I find Philip fascinating as historical character - much more than Elizabeth. His life until marriage was like some good, old-fashioned adventurous tale. On the other hand, Elizabeth seems a bit...boring in comparison. She is on the side of "boring" monarchs like her father and grandfather. The last "interesting" British king was flamboyant Edward VII (the case can be made for Edward VIII also but he was king for only one year so...he almost doesn't count).

Claire makes something outstanding out of it. I know the Duke is known for inappropriate comments and for being spoiled, but Matt Smith makes a caricature. The only one in the royal family that I find fascinating is Prince Harry.

The Crown Season 2 official trailer. Olivia Colman will replace Claire Foy for seasons 3 and 4. I guess they'll choose Helen Mirren for 5 and 6.

Olivia Colman is the perfect choice for the next 2 seasons of The Crown, she`s a brilliant actress. If you haven`t seen it already, check her out in The Night Manager, she won a GG for that role.

I think she played Queen Elizabeth (later Queen Mother) in Hyde Park on Hudson (2012) also. And now, she is cast as daughter of her previous character

i watched The End Of The F***ing World, pretty good, the young lead actor is impressive! i don't know about Dark, i've seen only the first episode and i had an impression i saw it somewhere already such a familiar vibe, like it's a copy of something or a mixture of somethings, i can't put my finger on it
