Thinking a lot in Fincher’s Utopia now  Yes.Just finished the third episode.It`s a slow burner but really good.It`s dark and kinda messed up, like Gillian Flynn`s work always is.Agree that Adams is a lock for at least an Emmy nom, she`s great in it. |

Finally got around to watching Godless (netflix) and it's one of the the best,most beautifully shot and acted shows I've ever seen.

The Sinner also in Netflix is very good The Sinner was great and Jessica Biel, who I'd never really rated as an actress, was so good in it.Check out Ozark too if you haven't already, that was one of the best shows of last year. |

The Haunting of House Hill House is definitely worth checking out.I watched it over the weekend and it was great.It's a really unique take on the Haunted House trope,scary, but also really moving.One of the best shows of the year in my opinion.  |

Just finished watching Homecoming,Sam Esmail's new show with Julia Roberts and it was excellent.It's very Hitchkockian in tone and style and Julia is fantastic in it.Episodes are only 25-30 mins long so definitely worth a binge. |

If you're looking for something decent to watch, check out The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.It's surprisingly good and genuinely scary.Kiernan Shipka is great as Sabrina too.

Finished the finale of House of Cards last night.... not good. I actually liked the last season despite a shaky start and some issues but the way it ended... it felt like it was intended for a season finale instead of a series finale. So many plotlines unresolved and open. In some ways, the previous season's finale would've worked better as a series finale, even if it didn't resolve all the character's stories.
It really does feel like it's missing Kevin Spacey, he was a big part of the show (definitely should've been fired regardless), and so it feels like a part of the show is missing. So its understandable that they had to work with what they could in an impossible situation. Still, surely it could've been handled better. Disappointing end to a decent season of a mostly great series.
