2017 Cannes Film Festival

Yea, but are we sure Vox Lux is a musical? Did any legit source ever mention that it was going to be a musical? The feel I got was that it is going to be straight up drama with musical elements. Her singing (and hopefully dancing ) Not the perfect example but from the top of my head, just to give you an idea: Coal Miner's Daughter, except a hell lot less country . Only in terms of how much of it is drama than an actual musical (which it really wasn't) I don't think Rooney will be popping in and out of songs like most musicals. Annette was going to be that.
