AW hates everything about it though, they made me a little bit nervous now :nervous: They make me a bit nervous too. But remember this, apart from a few sweet people, AW is filled with a bunch of stubborn know-it-alls. They're good people too but exeptionally stubborn. And that trait usually comes back to bite them in the ass
I suppose they are Arians

Agreed. I was like Megan Ellison will make something really special with this and now with Garth on board I'm like crossing fingers even when I love the guy. I loved House in the Sky book by the way. Thanks for telling me I could read it before the movie. I will comment more on the House threadPlease do. I want to know what you thought of it :)

I don't understand why people feel the need to rip apart every film for something, even though it hasn't premiered, nor been released yet. We can't enjoy anything anymore!
Because negative mentality is standard for many people these days, unfortunately. It makes them feel good about themselves among other things. IMDb was full of this. It's also can be interpreted as (unconscious or not) sign of caution for many others.

I don’t remember well TTOL, maybe they booed it because people don’t like being sermoned with religious stuff where least expected. With MM, we know what it is about, I mean it’s religious but it's being announced as a humanized perspective and I think we won’t be felling sermoned there, I’m sure Garth has treated the subject well, the way you don’t feel you’re being evangelized. It is like going to a church just because I love architecture, and i don’t like when I check my FB account and see religious messages from a few people.
Lol ...there was plenty of similar things on various IMDb boards too.
People posted religious stuff there? I didn't see any.

Yup, on pages of some older movies, from time to time. Stuff like "met our Lord and Jesus" and something similar :lol2: Some posts were hilarious.

Vanity Fair is wondering .. Will J. Phoenix bring his trademark eccentricity to the role of Jesus?

True Story: Rooney buys a house and plans to move in and then travel to India for her 30th birthday. Read the Lion script only as a favor to Harvey W, producer and friend of family. Although she will not accept the role she decides to speak with Garth Davis because the story is very beautiful. After 5 minutes of talking with him, she feels she has to be in the movie and travels a lot of hours to do like 6 scenes with a debutante director. Two years later, Garth Davis' second film is among the most anticipated of the year and starring two Cannes winners and two of the best actors on the planet. Moral: In life every minute counts

Any guesses as to when we might get a trailer for this?.I know it`s not released until November but its not unusual to see a trailer 5 or 6 months before the film comes out.

So late August early September if it's Telluride or Tiff. Charles

What are the chances of us getting a teaser trailer? If they do that, then the first teaser could even drop in late July, with the first official trailer dropping sometime in late Aug like Charles mentioned.
