That critic mafia is so hard to please, they praise too much some movies and then they're full of nonsense. Those clips are nice, but too much of Jesus for what I thought it would be more about Mary Magdalene, I will have to wait long to see if MM is really the lead here. i know it might be silly of me, but too much of Jesus is one thing but too much religion is just a bigger problem  , this talk about the spirit and god, teachings, ughh! it was supposed to be more humanistic approach, i was hoping for a psychological drama, Mary's struggle with herself and society in the first place and then this human/god guy. maybe we'll see more of thigs like that later... Yes, the religion preaching scares me, but i think her performance is going to be worth the scare. lol for some reason I read psychological thriller instead of psychological drama. |

nah...it's over. And we'll probably not see any new movie with her anytime soon. With Joaquin or not.
yep. and Garth saying he has nothing lined up isn't helping. so A House is still nowhere close  What does that means? IMBD is always giving me the wrong info, will it help if we all click more often on Rooney's IMDB to make her rank more popular and be considered for good roles?... funny i never know who those on top are but seems they are working a lot. |

Those clips are nice, but too much of Jesus for what I thought it would be more about Mary Magdalene, I will have to wait long to see if MM is really the lead here. imo it’s hard to imagine a movie about a disciple of jesus that isn’t super heavy on jesus! btw isn’t this the response most ppl were expecting in terms of reviews? i don’t care if it’s “fresh” (i’d take Song to Song over most best picture nominees this year tbh) but i’m surprised some parts of the reviews actually make the movie sound interesting and like it has ideas and isn’t just mediocre nothingness like i expected based on the trailers. i still don’t expect to love it but it’s suddenly intriguing. maybe it’ll be an interesting failure? also what is with the constant joaquin hate? calm down ppl |

Yeah, we have one prominent anti-Joaquin member on this forum  . Full freedom of speech is allowed here so everyone can express their personal opinion but I still think that user can be rather annoying sometimes. This is a freedom of speech too.

Garth himself said it was not going to be a religious movie, had and still have expectations on “the humanistic approach”, my impression is based in those last clips. FYI i don’t hate Joaquin, how could i hate the voice from Earthlings that convinced me to switch from vegetarian to vegan, he’s kind of my godfather ;) . Besides, my friends and I have an unspoken rule: never ever trash anybody’s current couple, never mention the ex of any of your friends, except if they remain friends and just do something if they are doing something bad and if you are asked for advise or something. |

The only place i can think of an even like this must be in Australia maybe? and then wait months if ever gets a theatrical release in The States. Maybe they have been doing press between last event and now? they have to do something like that if they want this movie to take off after that mean 20% en RT. |
