I heard that Mike Mills is making a new movie. I remember that Rooney said that she was a fan of Beginners (the movie is very Charlie and her). So it would be nice.
I'm not sure if Rooney wants to act again but I still would like to see her in something like that. Different to her style

That's what I thought at first but I'm not sure anymore. Three years is too much and now I have the feeling that Rooney struggled with acting much more than we thought and somehow Hiraeth and Joaquin gave her a way out. I don’t say it as something bad. I totally see Joaquin as the type of boyfriend who encourages you to do what you want to do and that's a great thing ... but it implies that Rooney could be devoted to anything. We’ll see. I hope you are right |

If I'm not wrong she said once that she would like to emulate DDL's career. Obviously, she is nowhere near DDL's status at this point but maybe by saying that her idea is to work on only two-three projects in a decade; but they need to be REALLY good.
Would you like that scenario ?

The problem is that good female roles are so few and I'm not sure if the producers consider her the best option for them. Still I think she would not reject an amazing offer. |

Personally (for me, not for the arts) I will be happy if she manages to do at least one with Haneke, PTA, Ramsay or a French director. I also think that making your own clothes is a nice job and she deserves to do what she wants |
