It's too early but I have a feeling that Best Actress Oscar is Olivia Colman's to lose. This might be her year, especially if THE CROWN Season 3 premieres in January/February. I'd be totally OK if this happens but let's see what the other festivals and movies will bring. |

It's too early but I have a feeling that Best Actress Oscar is Olivia Colman's to lose. This might be her year, especially if THE CROWN Season 3 premieres in January/February. I'd be totally OK if this happens but let's see what the other festivals and movies will bring. I think she'll go supporting, and if she does, she's close to a lock to win it.I have a feeling Emma will probably be pushed for best actress as she's the bigger star.Sounds like Nicole Kidman may be a real contender for Destroyer too. |

People in WTF mode with Suspiria. Mixed reactions I'm mixed on Call Me By Your Name but the direction of it was great so I can at least expect that for Suspiria. I liked the original but I'm not particularly hyped for the remake. With that said, the polarising reactions does have me very interested, if it ends up being like The Neon Demon or Mother of 2018. |
