Wouldn't it be nice if Sony lost their shirt on this. The timing is off, five years ago this was a hot series not anymore.
Surprised that Portman or Johansson are even interested in this money grab. Can't be good for their careers.
Wasn't Johansson insulted in a leaked email by Amy when she was at Sony. It would also be nice if Scarlett returned the insult back to Sony.

Fede spoke ( it´s just media bullshit in my opinion) Would Rooney even agree if she was asked to? Considering how much Fincher championed and mentored her during the making of that film, I don't think she would feel that secure returning to the role without him. Rooney made it very clear that wanted to play Lisbeth again. Even if it's without Fincher.

This is a bit odd, but Someone on AW posted that Fincher's going to remain as an executive producer on this one. I don't entirely believe this. But has anyone here heard something similar? Yeah, he's listed in the Sony press release.

I don't think Sony, Rudin & Pascal expected this amount of backlash. Speaking of Franchises, didn't every Twilight and Divergent film have different directors? Alvarez is giving quite the bullshit on that tweet. Yea, he's talking crap. This being a reboot and the 4th book being "new and different" from the first trilogy would probably be their excuse for the casting if and when it's brought up.

the sad thing is, Rooney will be asked about that frequently from now on. every interview. i bet her publicist is under heavy fire already, for Rooney's comment on that matter :|

She was mostly asked before because nobody had any idea what was happening with these movies. Now that everyone knows I think she will be asked about it less, slowly.

It's the questions you don't anticipate that give people problems. Agree with Ms Sparrow I am really glad she is no longer associated with this mess. Charles

Don´t be sad, guys. It was a beautiful journey and she survived to tell the tale. I mean she built a flawless career starting from an iconic character. It's not something anyone can do. It is painful that this role allows her to be "Rooney Mara" but does not give her the right to close the story. But that happens when you're a good girl in a fucking business world. And I'm sure she's grateful for the experience and proud of the film that she and David did as much as their fans are. No one will take that from her. No one will take it from us either.
