So glad it made it. The Cannes website seems to be featureless so far, but they have a week or so to get it finished. Charles

Not sure what category, possibly competition, E John loved the movie thought that it was himself on the screen. Charles

Cannes 2019 starts tonight with the opening ceremony, so the press has been active with recommendations. Here are a few:

Guardian - Peter Bradshaw 10 Films
Large number of women on his list 4 of 9 by my count.
Reminds us that Isabelle Huppert appears in Frankie

BBC - Paul Glynn 9 Films
Likes 'The Dead Don't Die' best, but includes 'Rocketman' and 'Diego Maradona

Film Stage - Jordan Raup 20 films
Much more variety here with Mallicks 'A Hidden Life' at #1
