Critics Choice BEST PICTURE and DIRECTOR. Critics Choice. Not Bradley tho. Some say Bradley is like too bland for a lead role and got overshadowed by the girls “Belfast” “CODA” “Don’t Look Up” “Dune” “King Richard” “Licorice Pizza” “Nightmare Alley” “The Power of the Dog” “tick, tick…Boom!” “West Side Story” Was NA even seen by the Globes? Complete snub seems weird. And even weirder is the snubbing of Penelope Cruz for Best Actress by GG and Critics Choice. She won in Venice for Christ's sake! Based on reviews, Don't Look Up and Being the Ricardos shouldn't be anywhere near awards this season. Really hope PTA and Alana make it in the end.

Yeah, this is going to bomb hard,unfortunately.Spider-Man is sucking up all of the oxygen. Not surprising in the slightest. I'm still not sure why release date was postponed from December 3 for two weeks. For no apparent reason? Movie premiered on December 1 anyway, it seems Searclight didn't care that much about it.

Rooney suffered a bit from the shoot. I'm surprised that she mentioned her pregnancy so much. Not in a bad way, I just thought she would avoid the issue with the press. People and critics are loving the film more right now

People and critics are loving the film more right now Not sure about that. Audience rating on RT dropped to 69%. Just yesterday was above 80%. They mostly say movie is way too long and depressing for holidays. Not a good sign. Critics too, it was 84-85% a few days ago, right now is at 80%.

That argument that it's too depressing though ... I kind of hate it. Movies are not sweet or relaxing. The real world is too depressing for holidays in that case.

I think the better option, if the date was already postponed, was to open only in selected theaters now and then go wide in January. But there's a lot of questions about the movie, most important one why the post-production was so late and (obviously) rushed. Let's face it, even if NA got raves from critics I doubt box-office would've been much better, maybe for a bit but not too much. Adult non-franchise cinema seems more or less dead for theater moviegoers, pandemic might be the final nail in the coffin. It's depressing. 😒

Looks like Del Toro is working with Netflix now, maybe he’s not happy with this treatment

People always get Rooney acting more than critics
Del Toro talking about his movies is better than the movie itself
