I'd love this project to cover Audrey's years from Roman Holiday 1953 to Breakfast at Tiffany's 1961, with flashbacks from her childhood and profesional beginnings. But that might be maybe too much of a conventional approach, Guadagnino might try something more experimental. Is Brideshead Revisited still in the game or...? It’s a great idea. I hope Brideshead is still going because I wanna her and Andrew <3 working together again

Back in my emotional Garth Davis mode :) , I have to say that people's obsession with judging and proving that they are right on the internet many times does not allow them to see the valuable things behind stories and about people, even in the world of the showbis. In the case of Rooney's casting in this, there is something very transcendent and beautiful that no one has mentioned. Rooney's love for acting comes from the fact that she watched old movies with her mother. Which is not just an anecdote, as you can see the marks those movies left on the subtle and elegant acting style that Rooney has even playing a punk hacker like Salander. If I almost shed a tear when I read the news, imagine that must have felt her mother when she found out that Rooney would be Audrey. Or her grandmother who already has the iconic photograph of Mary Magdalene framed in the wall ... Or her sister Kate who went from seeing her suffer in the first castings to receiving awards from Cate Blanchett or seeing Di Caprio win the Oscar live or go to her wedding to Joaquin Phoenix. Artists when they are enormously talented and professional - Rooney objectively is - are stories of good people who fulfill their dreams. And those stories, those people, must be loved, respected, admired because it is something very rare. PS: I’m not being stan or super fan this time.I think similar about Nicole Kidman and Lucy for example. The film is awful but Nicole gave everything she has, you can tell. And there’s is something very beautiful about it.

Min 46. Luca saying the news come out too early. “it’s in the middle of the water” but he’s working on this with the “wonderful Rooney Mara” and Chelsea Bernard (ex girlfriend of Megan Ellison, Annapurna worker and producer of C’mon C’mon

There’s a rumor from Awards Worthy about Luca not doing this. I don’t have access to that site so I don’t know more... but it was announced he’s also working in a film with Zendaya and Amy Pascal now.
I’d vote for Tom Ford for directing this

I’d vote for Tom Ford for directing this Luca's attached to so many projects and most of them don't end up happening, which is why I'm not holding my breath for this to ever see the light of day.Particularly now he's making a film with Zendaya.

I'd love PTA to direct it 😘 but JFK and Elvis both being alive is more likely to happen.
Come on guys, this is not happening. It isn't even listed on IMDb. It's House of the Sky all over again (and maybe Vox Lux).
Even if it gets made it will probably be with Garth Davis directing - with pretty meh results.
We should be used to it by now. I mean, I'll not be even disappointed anymore...

The brand is very present in at least all I’ve watched so far on Apple TV +, all the products displayed in most scenes, with the Audrey project maybe they will have to use the fruit instead

Maybe he had to choose between this and Audrey because he doesn't have time for both? Maybe everything turns out good in the end. Anyway, if Luca is out someone else can do Audrey biopic in his place. sethan recommended Tom Ford and he is a very good choice.

They can change the director several times but I have a little more hope that it will happen one day because behind it’s Apple and they have money and understand the power of doing niche and cool things. And obviously Rooney is not Julia Roberts but she has a powerful and cultured niche that includes much of Film Twitter and critics. Every once in a while someone curses Sony for the Dragon Tattoo sequels :) for example. if Chelsea Barnard found funding for C'mon C'mon (the most personal movie ever <3)! she can get hype with an Audrey biopic. People love Audrey and respect Rooney’s work ethic enough to believe she will do a great job.

Rooney Mara blowing a kiss to Luca. Queen He came to hug her 🤗 Rooney doesn't have any new projects listed on IMDb except La Cocina. Does that mean that she is - maybe - preparing herself mentally and studiously to play Audrey in the near future. (That's at least what I want it to be 😘) What do you think?
