Speaking of IMDb, haven't checked it in some time, but i am pretty sure location scout among cast and crew is a very recent addition. Hmm.

If it's true, we'll know soon. It should be announced next days if the filming is in December

If true, Natalie is good replacement for the role.
Ok, we can move now from this...hope Rooney is back soon with some truly good choices. She obviously chose a small rest from movies and that's perfectly normal and much needed sometimes, of course. It's just that, for me as a fan, it's little depressing to see how all other actresses her age work with full steam right now, while Rooney is dropping out of promising, high-profile projects.

I understand if she wants time off since some date. But I don’t understand why she dropped this if already had it in her schedule. It’s really painful and sad.

I like to think that in the near future she will complete A House in the Sky, also work with Fincher and Todd again, crowning all this with one project directed by PTA.
This is my wishful thinking (and kind of solace) ; I'll be more than happy if only one of them indeed does happen.

That would be great. House is happening sooner or later. I think

It's really sad to see her give up on these projects. It's been months since I've heard rumors that she gave up Vox Lux, just like Annete did, so it must be true. A pity she gave up these films instead of Mary Magdalene and Dont Worry

A pity she gave up these films instead of Mary Magdalene and Dont Worry Well, if those rumours are true that the script of Vox was really bad, then I’m ok if she dropped it because of that reason… I think the main reason why she did MM is because of Garth, remember that she was planning to say no to Lion before that phone call. Of course, like everyone here, I miss hearing she’s doing and booking new projects. But then I remember she’s like Lisbeth when choosing work. I can’t complain when I realize I had gone 4 times to the theatre to see her movies in the last few months, less than a year because I remember I went to see Lion on december 26, also we had The discovery on Netflix, 5 movies total, and in a few days the digital release of The secret scripture, 6 movies in less than a year, 2 to come. I think we have been spoiled with a lot lately, and we are expecting the same ;) .

I'm looking forward to both films more than ever; they can turn out to be very good (though we must be very cautious especially when it comes to Mary Magdalene - in terms of release date and actual quality of the movie).
These two films shouldn't be blamed for Annette and Vox Lux in any way, it's obvious that their schedule wasn't the problem. And I'm glad that at this point we have at least two movies with Rooney next year.
