^it's pretty reliable person, imo. one who posted details about Vox Lux and a brochure from Sierra/Affinity, i think it's true.
i wonder if Vox Lux is pushed back to summer then :confuse:

The question mark for me is 'Don't Worry', It has either taken Annette's spot or shoots for longer than we thought? |

The question mark for me is 'Don't Worry', It has either taken Annette's spot or shoots for longer than we thought? wasn't Don't Worry supposed start in march? i thought Rooney's part is so small there, they'll be able to work around Vox Lux somehow and complete her part in a couple of days. the thing is, we don't know anything about the extent of her character, another mystery  |

According Deadline she's still in deadline.com/2017/02/berlin-hot-titles-2017-efm-1201906385/Hope aside, A person with a nickname is not a source. For me she's in until there's another actress instead or her agent publish the info in somewhere with credentials and delete the project of her IMDB |

Let's wait for someone else to join the film, and if Rooney's name isn't mentioned then, she dropped out. I think that poster is a joke, how come it has an allure of an 80's scary movie? i mean the freaking doll in the bottom... Imdb still lists her in Annette. |

What if "Rooney Mara" is at the top of the poster, out of that picture. That would be funny Honey, take a look at that picture again, I don't think there's place to add anything on top  . Even if her name was there we would be able to see a good part of it in that pic. Also it would be weird to have Rooney's name on top, as this seems like it's Adam's characters journey more than her characters |

This hurts. Especially when we know that Carax wanted Rooney for this project. I have a feeling that Annette will be a great movie and Rooney will not be part of it.  I don't mind when she drops out of movies like Rogue One or Collateral Beauty (although CB had some potential in the hands of Rejon and Jackman) or even Brooklyn (she found the perfect replacement in Carol which is much better film overall) but when this happens with projects like Annette that's sad day. We have to move on but this is painful.
If I were on the place of Carax or producers I'd postpone production until Roon is ready ;) |
