Megan Ellison is producing it. And according to the first press release, Rooney was going to as well. I have a little doubt about that now because IMDb doesn't list Rooney as a producer anymore. OMG, how the hey Rooney is going to finance it herself? she got paid with pie for AGS and apparently worked for free for ex-boyfirned... girl needs to stop working for free. I can't stop laughing at "she got paid with Pie for AGS." So true  |

Well he said the actors got paid little money, I said the free as a joke ;) but if she keeps doing that she's not going to produce any movie. Ohh! I remember reading Greta Gerwig was forced to do two studio movies, just to pay her bills, since indie movies you basically work for free (not all, but majority) Right the true artist is poor. ;) Rooney had to do Pan. |

:o i didn't hear anything about locations before, i don't remember that anyway, so it's seems the movie is going forward after all! still, nothing else is known though, damn it. I'm going to personally campaign for Rooney when this film comes out.

Do you have any specific wish/idea who would be good choice to play that Australian guy ? His character is basically co-lead, right ?
Also, any role for Barkhad Abdi ? I can see him easily in this project.

Also, any role for Barkhad Abdi ? I can see him easily in this project.
I don't know but looking his pictures I thought someone like Jake Gylenhall would be good. Or Fassbender or Matt Damon (maybe the role is too small for Fassy). Wishing Bigelow for the director chair Also could be Gosling or Jeremy Renner |

As for Bell being B-list. Who cares? He's an incredible actor who deserves a lot more than he gets. And he's not the central focus, Rooney is. So it doesn't matter. The book's incredible. It's started off pretty slow, but it ultimately floored me. I usually wouldn't recommend reading the book before watching the film. But you should  |
