Any director predictions? I think it is too soon for Garth. He can´t do another film back to back. Hopefully we´ll know soon. Imagine it´s Fincher (just joking) Still rooting for Bigelow here

I'm so excited! I wonder if Annapurna will distribute the film, since they're a distributor now. Also, isn't Rooney attached as a producer on this as well?Yes, she's supposed to be but IMDb doesn't mention that anymore. Hope it's just a glitch. oh lord, don't scare me like that! recently, we're all highly sensitive about her dropping out from things. 8D if she has to drop something, let it be a producer job not her acting in this movie! :-X

Any director predictions? My bold (and quite possible silly) prediction: Fincher

IMDb doesn't mention her as a producer anymore. She's still listed as an actor. Don't worry, I understand your pain

For me, I think Lynne Ramsay would be the ideal choice. Her films are so poetic and low on dialogue, and Rooney would feel perfect for that.

Looks like 2018 will be sabbatical for Rooney... After this 2017

I think she's brilliant. I would also mention Kelly Reichardt but I doubt she would want to do this. She's pretty set in her ways. But yeah, for someone new and with a fresh voice, definitely a big yes for Jennifer Kent

I want her Oscar win (if she ever does win one) to be under the Fincher's direction. I think her best shot at winning will be for House. So adding Fincher to the mix would only make it more perfect.
