People who read The Silent Patient says it would be perfect for Lynne Ramsay or Fincher. OMG. Don’t play with my heart . For the description I think Rooney is really perfect as Alicia. Objectively. I mean “speaking with silence’ it has to be Rooney (or Marion Cotillard) Happy New Year, guys <3 Brad Pitt's production company optioned this. He's best friends with Fincher, so he could end up directing this,(hopefully) with Rooney as the lead.I read the book a few months ago and loved it,it's very Hitchcockian, which is right in Fincher's wheelhouse. Brad Pitt as Theo, the psychologist and we don't worry about having to be bankable

If Rooney still want to have an acting career. This project will be awesome. Also her chemistry with Ryan is perfect

I finished reading “the midnight library”. It’s a really good story with many stories inside. I don’t want to spoil it but to give you an idea, it’s in the line of originality of eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. The main character is Nora a 35 years old from Bedford, UK. Yes! 35 years old and another Bedford! I wish Rooney gets the part if they ever do the movie, I think she’s perfect for it. she should produce it and buy the rights before Reese Witherspoon does.

Pablo Larraín will make a third film about another female icon. I wish Audrey or someone else with Rooney (or Huppert if she's older, someone older would be great)

Oh why is this so hard to happen! Am I asking for too much?

Next Pedro Almodóvar film will be the adaptation of A Manual for Cleaning Women (a book of short stories) with Cate Blanchett. If he also cast Rooney....

I would love to see Rooney working with Najwa Nimri, who I rediscovered while watching “Money Heist”, an outstanding actress. Her work starts on season 3 as the antagonist, pregnant police inspector Alicia Sierra, funny thing is that as time goes by, you start loving her. She’s merciless, smart, sarcastic, I don’t remember laughing so much watching a movie or series. I had previously watched 3 of her movies, her beginnings a long time ago on cable, but I didn’t notice it was the same actress, she’s a chameleon.
Then watched Vis a vis (from the same creators of Money Heist, it’s on Netflix too), her previous work where she plays Zulema, an inmate, a psychopath. Almost at the end of the 4th season, she plays the best “Joker” ever. The difference between all Jokers before and hers is that you hate / feel sorry for them, but hers, it touches you, she’s evil, funny, crazy and again you end up loving her. She has a lot of range.
She’s also a singer.

I haven’t watched any of what you mentioned but she’s in a few spanish movies that I like a lot “Los Amantes del Circulo Polar”, “Quien te Cantará” “Abre los Ojos’, “Lucia y el Sexo’. Sorry, I don’t know the english titles. She and Rooney would be great together. I’d like more European autors and actors in her filmography. She have the level and the elegance for it
