Wouldn`t mind seeing Roons in that new Tarantino film along side Margo,Brad and Jennifer Lawrence.    I was just thinking about that. She would be perfect to play Susan Atkins
 Rooney playing one of the most unhinged members of the murderous cult would be fcking epic and creepy entertaining. Margot Robbie is considered for Sharon Tate ? Idk about that. I'd cast Elizabeth Debicki instead. I really hope they don't cast Jared Leto as Manson, he looks nothing like him. Anyway, Tarantino said this movie is about year 1969 (whatever that means), not about Manson. Let's wait and see...
I guess Jennifer (if cast) will play Patricia Krenwinkel or Leslie Van Houten ?

I would love to see that but considering that there's not even a rumour about Rooney I'm less inclined to think this will happen. The main cast it seems is Margot Robbie and possibly Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Sam Jackson.
If not that movie, I hope we get Rooney in another Tarantino movie.

It will not happen for sure. For the most part Tarantino choses either big box-office draws or largely mainstream actors. Or washed-up former big names in need of career revival. And sometimes foreign actors in small but effective roles.
Rooney doesn't belong to any group here.

I wish Fincher is directing this rather than QT. It would suit his style very well. Tarantino will make some entertaining pulpy talking fun of it. Probably nothing deep, introspective or ambiguous.

Fincher would be perfect for something like this.I like Tarantino but his films don`t have an awful lot of depth and he tends to trivialize serious subject matter ie: the Nazi`s in Inglorious Bastards..Still, it sounds like he`s lining up a killer cast and this is definitely one I`m looking forward to seeing. :popcorn: |

When she's a little older she'd be great as a noir Femme Fatale. She has the kind of dignified/sophisticated look and has done great whenever she's moved beyond ingenue roles. This seems to be a bit of an OT forum but it seemed like the best place to post a general thread like this.
