This is one of the few Rooney movies, I've yet to see it. Is Rooney in it much? She's not in the movie for too long. She's in the opening scene, and she steals it from Jesse (After watching that scene is when I became a fan of hers and began to follow her work). and another scene in the middle. But she's vital to the story. In the movie she's basically the reason why he went on and created Facebook. I don't want to ruin it for you. It's a brilliant film. Fincher's finest.

Don't be sorry Red, it started for me also but in a different way which makes all the things that happened later more magical ;)

A must watch movie believe me. One of the best films of the decade. Fincher and Sorkin at the height of their game. Film theme maybe looks boring at first sight but this is tremendous, monumental, always fascinating zeitgeist-movie thanks to masterful direction, brilliant script, genius score and terrific acting by the whole pleyade of young actors (Eissenberg, Garfield, Hammer, Rooney, Minghella, Dakota Johnson etc).
And Rooney has a killer opening scene ! Maybe her most energetic performance to date. One that made her a star. Never gets boring.
Strongly recommended !

Her chemistry with Eisenberg in that opening scene is some of the best I've ever seen. Really wish they'd do another movie together. I could see them in a great Annie Hall-like romantic comedy

I could see them in a great Annie Hall-like romantic comedy You stole my words. Like you even I wondered what it would be like if Rooney and Jesse acted together in a film similar to Annie Hall. Their chemistry is TSN was off the charts. It was so magnetic. I'm dying to see them work together again. The closest they came to work together since TSN was in Kelly Reichardt's Night Moves. Though Rooney was attached to it alongside Paul Dano at the time, Paul dropped out first, so there was a scope of her working with Jesse again. I still wish she hadn't dropped out of it.

Fincher can be so aloof. It's kind of funny if you've ever seen him talk before.

The one that started it all! Well, at least for some (I'm sorry Mortimer, couldn't resist :P ) I was listening to this amazing Creep version today, such a cathartic version by the Scala & Kolacny Brothers . Very well chosen for this trailer.

Scala & Kolacny Brothers version is beautiful (I used it for the one of my YouTube tributes dedicated to Rooney years ago).
Rooney is a big fan of Radiohead, I think (when she was young she had a crush on Thom Yorke) so she probably loves this song - in both versions. Also, as we know she is fan of PTA and Jonny Greenwood (lead guitarist of the band) composes music for his films. Everything is connected.
