I'm excited to finally see this - and it looks like Rooney does a great job based on everything we've seen so far.

I'm excited to finally see this - and it looks like Rooney does a great job based on everything we've seen so far. I`m definitely going to watch it but the reviews have been pretty brutal and it only got 29% on RT. :horror: |

I`m definitely going to watch it but the reviews have been pretty brutal and it only got 29% on RT. :horror: I knew the reviews were bad.. but I had no idea it was as low as that. Rooney is enough, but I think the rest of the cast is strong, too (or usually are) and not to mention, I'm really into the visuals of her recent films, and this one looks particularly stunning. I'll go into it with low hopes, and who knows, maybe I'll love it :D |

I'll go into it with low hopes, and who knows, maybe I'll love it :D By now I’ve already forgot most of the book, so I guess I wouldn’t be complaining much that it doesn’t remain true to the book :lol2: , I didn’t find it great in the first place but I do remember one thing that I found shocking and so well narrated , I suppose It would not be included in the film as it was during Roseanne younger years. I remember there was too much going on, like material for 3 books instead of 1. But still, I want to see this movie because Rooney is on it. Flung out of space :lol2:  … It hasn’t been release over here yet and according to the site i saw giving me a false theatrical date now it says its NOT going to be release in theatres and I can't find a digital release date either. |

Yeah, i saw it there, but I find it expensive and I stopped buying DVDs a long time ago. I was thinking about just renting or getting the digital version because I'm tired of accumulating stuff that I know at some point I will give it away,in how many years DVDs will be obsolete who knows I remember having movies on VHS that i gave to someone and some are still somewhere at my parents'. |
