So...is there any information about how much viewership The Discovery has gained on Netflix in the past four months ? Ten millions ? Million ? 100 000 ? 1000 ? 100 ? 50 ? I think we, as Rooney fans, have the right to know the exact number but, of course, Netflix doesn't do that for any of their films - maybe for the obvious reasons ?
Charlie won't become household name if his movies are lost and forgotten in the Netflix sea without proper marketing. Maybe Amazon was a better option ?
Thanks god that Netflix didn't buy A Ghost Story. That would be really awful. |

This film just came and went with little fanfare.It will barely be a footnote in Rooney`s career, Charlie`s too.He`s a talented guy and I actually like The Discovery a lot, it`s just that very few other people seem to. And no, frustratingly,we`ll probably never know how many people watched it on Netflix. agreed. i'm still bitter about how it went down. it's not the best movie ever made  but it deserved a better treatment from its distributor |

This is a really beautiful tweet about The Discovery. Maybe it wasn't a hit but it connected with people from different places. Netflix did that
Also I know is just casual life but it's kinda impressive how Rooney did two movies about love and let go... (this +AGS) in the middle or before a break up. It's like this is my legacy of ... my message to you

Just watched this again for the first time in ages.I still think it is a mediocre film but Rooney is great in it.The real takeaway for me though is how badly miscast Jason Segel is.He throws the whole film off.  |

Seen it once, enough for me, I enjoyed Rooney’s scenes because she was funny and sarcastic, also a few frames of the cult. BTW, I noticed this week Frances Ha is on Netflix, finally I’m going to watch it. |
