First trailer is up.Initial thoughts,it actually looks quite good but Clare Foy is nowhere near as striking a Lisbeth Salander as Rooney was.Sounds like she`s nailed the Swedish accent though.  |

It looks fine but I don't have many real thoughts on it. I need to see more to have an impression on it. However you definitely feel the lack of Fincher here. Also it does feel like Claire Foy is playing Lisbeth Salander as opposed to her being Lisbeth. Like with Rooney and Noomi (who's performance I haven't even seen yet), they actually feel like Lisbeth. I'm sure she'll be fine enough in the actual movie but it is a concern I have. |

How do you feel the reception of the film/trailer has turned out? I’ve seen some local tabloid news saying it isn’t great wishing mainly return of Rapace.

Overall the reception has been a bit muted and underwhelming.I don`t know if people even wanted this film in the first place.Let`s be honest, even TGWTDT under performed at the box office so maybe the time for these books/films has passed?. :out: |

I couldn’t agree more with that statement :D , having seen most, if not all of Fincher’s movies plus his episodes of House of cards, IMO she’s the most talented actor in his catalog. |

I agree, it just looks like a standard thriller starring Lisbeth Salander than a Lisbeth Salander movie. I think it'll be a decent and entertaining thriller with some good acting and direction but nothing more than that. |
